KLIMB

Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.

Winston Churchill, Dyslexic

KLIMB originated from founder, Lindsay Terry-Lloyd's, passion to help dyslexic children, including her own three dyslexic children. We are a nonprofit dedicated to providing cost effective literacy intervention to young reluctant readers in a fun, mentor-based format.

We combine Structured Literacy with lessons on developing a Growth Mindset in order to encourage reading growth, as well as resilience, in our young KLIMBers. Our passion is to help our students seek their full potential - something we know is made incredibly difficult for them in their early elementary school years.

Despite the high prevalence of reading difficulties, the cost of current reading intervention makes it impossible for a large majority of families to help their children. Our business model allows us to remove this prohibitive financial burden for families, while still providing individualized, one on one instruction to children.

A child's ability to KLIMB starts with the belief that he/she can - our passion is to help instill that belief.
